Each year, normally the second full weekend in March (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), the Northeast Regional Delegates’ Reunion (NERD) is attended by current Trustees and Directors, past Trustees and Directors, current Delegates, past Delegates and guests (guests include spouses, “significant others”, and current Northeast Regional alternate delegates; past Delegates from other Delegate Service Areas, who are now residing in the Northeast Region, may also attend).
The primary purpose of NERD is to prepare the current seated Delegates for the up-coming General Service Conference. Newly elected Delegates share their Area highlights; and speakers share their service experience at meetings after the weekend’s two dinners and two breakfasts.
